CPCECHO introduces a WiFi assessment service that will allow organisations to understand the real performance of their wireless networks and act to achieve the best coverage and performance in line with best security practices.

CPCECHO's WiFi Assessment service consists of an on-site process of testing and monitoring WiFi networks to better identify coverage area, performance and compliance with security standards. CPCECHO complements the service by providing coverage maps that will serve as the basis for decision making in the context of better management of the organisation's internal WiFi network.

A weak WiFi network with fragile security can present a number of risks for an organisation, including: decreased productivity, as employees are unable to complete their tasks in a timely manner; loss of sensitive data as employees access the network without adequate security measures; and legal liabilities if confidential information is compromised due to an inadequate network security protocol.

The way of working is changing and many companies now rely on Hot Desk spaces in which employees may not have dedicated Ethernet access. As such, it becomes extremely important that wireless connectivity is suited to the organisation's productivity needs.

CPCECHO's WiFi Assessment service offers: security assessment, connectivity metrics, ease of use, simplified management and the provision of coverage maps.

Ricardo Sousa, Head of Technology at CPCECHO, states that "a good WiFi connection is essential for a productive working environment. The CPCECHO WiFi Assessment service ensures that the network is running in an optimised and secure way, allowing our clients to focus on their business and leave technical matters relating to wireless network performance to CPCECHO".
